Hi, I am Meghan Egnatowicz.
I am a published photographer from New Jersey. My family is my everything. I have a husband, two daughters, and a large extended family. They're the reason I began photography and the reason I strive to be better everyday. As a mother I believe in not only capturing the little bits of perfection between the giggle fits and tantrums but all of the moments. The ones where your kid is upside down on the monkey bars or jumping on your back. I love taking the real raw moments and freezing them in time for you to look back on for years to come.
I took my first photography class in 2013 when I just wanted to learn how to use my camera for pictures of our first daughter. Making it to class with a newborn was not easy so after the first class I decided to find some photographers who I really admired and ask them for help. To my surprise many photographers are willing to teach you what they know if you are willing to carry around their equipment all day at weddings! Knowledge was payment enough for me, so that is what I did. I followed them around asking all of the questions, and I still do. Im forever grateful for their knowledge.
Since then I have been photographing everything from the flowers in my yard to weddings in various states. I love travel and destination weddings fit my thrill for adventure and passion for photography. Throw in a sunrise or sunset and I'm over the moon!
I often bring my girls to work with me. Aside from wanting them to experience the great locations we shoot at I want them to see me at work. I want them to know that they have the power to do it all. I'm not just their mom. I followed my passion and made it a career. I love what I do and I didn't let being a mom or wife stop that. In addition my oldest is become a pretty darn good assistant! Not only does she get the littles laughing but she now knows how to spot a well shaded area and why its best to shoot there. When you hire me you're hiring us, a family.
